Xiaomi released a couple of handsets yesterday alongside the latest MIUI 10 custom UI. Now, the company has revealed the list of smartphones that will receive the MIUI 10 update. The MIUI 10 Custom ROM is based on Android 8.1 Oreo that enhances the smartphone’s AI capabilities.

Redmi Note 5
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which is also expandable up to 128GB via microSD. It runs on Android Nougat with MIUI 9.
It comes with a 12MP f/1.9 and 5MP f/2.0 rear cameras with LED Flash and a 13MP front camera. It also packs a 4000mAh battery.
Redmi S2
The Xiaomi Redmi S2 features a 5.99″ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a HD+ resolution of 1440 x 720.
As for its camera setup, it sports 12MP + 5MP dual rear cameras with the features PDAF, LED flash, facial recognition, AI portrait mode, and HDR. The main highlight of the phone is its 16MP selfie camera with large 2μm pixels that aids in low light selfies. The company also uses AI to deliver picture-perfect selfies. There are two major AI modes, the AI portrait and AI beauty (makeup) mode.
Redmi 5 Plus
It comes with a 5.99-inch FHD IPS display with 2160 x 1440 resolution. The Redmi smartphone is powered by Android 7.1.2 Nougat with MIUI 9, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microUSB card. It is fueled by a massive 4,000 mAh battery pack. It also has a fingerprint scanner.
In the camera department, it features a 12MP rear camera with PDAF and LED flash. For taking selfies, it has a 5MP camera with LED Flash.
Redmi 5A
The very affordable smartphone features a 5-inch IPS screen, powered by Snapdragon 425 chip coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. It also carries a 3,000mAh battery pack.
In the camera department, it comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper.
Redmi Note 4X
The Redmi Note 4x 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 and Adreno 506. It is paired with 64 GB, 4 GB RAM or 16/32 GB, 3 RAM. The Redmi Note 4x runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is also upgradable to 7.0 (Nougat).
In the camera department, it features a 13 MP with phase detection autofocus, and dual-LED dual-tone flash. It also has a 5 MP front snapper.
Redmi 4A
The Redmi Note 4A houses a 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 720 x 1280 resolution. It receives power from Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 and Adreno 308, couple with 16/32 GB of internal storage and 2 GB RAM. This smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow).
Going to the optics, it has a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.2, autofocus, and LED flash. For taking selfies, it comes with a 5 MP, f/2.2 front snapper.
