Insta360 has launched the Luna Pro, a gimbal camera with a 1-inch sensor that supports up to 8K video recording.
The camera weighs 215 grams and uses a 3-axis gimbal for stabilization. It can record 8K video at 30fps and 4K video at up to 120fps, along with 4K vertical video at 30fps.
Other features include 4× HighRes Zoom, three Leica color profiles, six cinematic filters, and Deep Track 5.0 for subject tracking. It also includes a detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen that can serve as a remote and microphone.
For vlogging, the Luna Pro supports built-in microphone recording and footage transfers through the Insta360 app for editing. Insta360 rates the camera for up to four hours of battery life under specified conditions, while fast charging can reach around 80% in 23 minutes.
The camera is also compatible with accessories such as a Wide-Angle Lens, ND Filter Set, Battery Handle, Neck Mount, and Mini Fill Light.
