Recall that Infinix promised their flagship device would soon support the 180w ThunderCharge technology. Infinix has hinted at the Zero Ultra, suggesting it is ready to release a commercial smartphone with 180w charging.
Some of the most notable features of the Zero Ultra, which were discovered in an AliExpress listing, are its curved 6.8-inch Full HD+120hz OLED display, and its 200-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization.
We are conflicted by Infinix’s decision to equip the Zero Ultra with a 200-megapixel camera, given that the teaser video suggests the device will employ a Dimensity 920 chipset. The Dimensity 920 is powered by MediaTek’s upper mid-range chip, which, according to the specifications, can only handle one camera with a maximum resolution of 108 megapixels. The Note 12 Pro 5G is another example; despite its Dimensity 810 CPU only allowing up to a single 64-megapixel sensor, it sports a 108-megapixel primary camera. Only by including a dedicated image signal processor (ISP) in the Zero Ultra can Infinix fully exploit the camera’s potential to provide a resolution of 200 megapixels.
The listing also claims that the Zero Ultra has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a headphone port, and a 4500mAh battery which is almost certainly the same bs battery type that Infinix used to demonstrate its ThunderCharge technology.
On October 5, Infinix will reveal the Zero Ultra, so we should have more information then.
