Design

Despite being a mid-range phone, the Infinix Zero Ultra is one of the most gorgeous phones this year. Unlike practically every other mid-ranger on the market, it has a display with curved borders on the sides, as well as quality materials. The screen-to-body ratio is exceptionally high, allowing the manufacturer to fit a very large display into a relatively small body. The Infinix Zero 20 features a solid structure but does not have the most appealing look. It has a solid metal frame, but the appearance of a waterdrop notch above the display seems out of place for a midrange phone coming in 2022. So, if you want the most stunning design, you should go with the Infinix Zero Ultra without hesitation.

Display

In terms of visual quality, the screens on these two phones are extremely comparable, but they are not identical. The Infinix Zero Ultra sports a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a punch hole in the center. The Infinix Zero 20 also boasts an AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a diagonal of 6.7 inches, but it has a lower refresh rate of 90 Hz and a smaller diagonal. It even loses the in-display fingerprint scanner, which is now side-mounted on this tablet. However, unlike its internal counterpart, it has stereo speakers since the earpiece functions as a secondary speaker. You know which has the greatest display and which has the best audio presently.

Camera

The Infinix Zero Ultra is one of the best camera phones introduced this year, and it takes first place in the camera comparison. It contains a triple camera arrangement that includes the world’s first 200MP primary camera (that also supports optical stabilization), a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The Infinix Zero 20 includes a 108MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera, but the selfie shooter is far better with its 60MP resolution, OIS capability, and front-facing LED light.

Specs & Performance

The hardware of the Infinix Zero Ultra is far superior. First and foremost, it is the only pair to have a 5G connection. Furthermore, it has a superior chipset: a Dimensity 920 by Mediatek built with a 6 nm production process and sporting an octa-core architecture composed of two Cortex A78 CPUs running at a maximum frequency of 2.5 GHz, six Cortex A55 CPUs running at 2 GHz, and a Mali G68 MC4 GPU.

The SoC is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of native storage and The Infinix Zero 20 has the same RAM arrangement, but with a lower-quality processor and no 5G connection. The SoC is a Mediatek Helio G99 designed using a 6 nm production process and an octa-core architecture containing two Cortex A76 CPUs running at 2.2 GHz, six Cortex A55 CPUs running at 2 GHz, and a Mali G57 MC2 GPU, with Android 12 modified with XOS 12 user interface.

Battery

These two phones have the same battery capacity: 4500 mAh. Because their components’ energy usage is equal, they should have comparable battery life. What differs is the charging speed: the Infinix Zero Ultra wins since it supports 180W fast charging, the fastest technology available if iQOO’s 200W fast charging is excluded.

Price & Availability

The Infinix Zero 20 starts at €275 or $275 (around Php16,205) in the Asian market, while the Infinix Zero Ultra starts at Php21,999 in the nationwide market. The Zero 20 has a stronger front camera, but it remains a poor phone overall. The Ultra has a better display, a more powerful chipset, a 5G connection, improved back cameras, and quicker charging.
