Infinix Zero 5G and Tecno Pova 5G are two brand-new devices from these relatively new smartphone players, both of which are entering the 5G market for the first time. Surprisingly, both are the same price in India. When it comes to saving a few bucks on either of these, there’s not much to choose between them at Rs 19,999. As a result, it all depends on who captures your attention if you’re sick of the Redmis and Motorolas of this segment.
The Infinix Zero 5G is attempting to be a flagship device, whereas the Tecno Pova 5G is content to be a mid-range device. Both have distinct designs, with the Infinix Zero 5G featuring a design that has previously only been seen on the OPPO Find X3 flagship. The Infinix Zero 5G comes with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ IPS LTPS display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and relatively thin bezels. The Tecno Pova 5G, on the other hand, offers a bigger 6.9-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz
Performance
The Infinix Zero 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A microSD card may be used to virtually extend the by 5GB and the internal storage by 256GB. The same MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor is used in the Tecno Pova 5G, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Tecno also provides 3GB of practically scalable RAM and 512GB of extendable storage.
Cameras
The Infinix Zero 5G has a one-of-a-kind triple-back camera arrangement that includes a 48MP main camera, a 13MP portrait camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 2MP depth sensor. A 16MP sensor is used in the selfie camera.
The Tecno Pova 5G is equipped with a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP secondary camera, and a third AI lens. A comparable 16MP selfie camera can be found on the front.
Battery
The Infinix Zero 5G is powered by a regular 5000mAh battery and has a 33W rapid charging technology. The Tecno Pova features a larger 6000mAh battery but only supports 18W wired charging.
Price
Both the Infinix Zero 5G and Tecno Pova 5G are available in the similar 8GB/128GB variant in India, and both have surprisingly the same price tag of Rs 19,999 (around 15,000 and above).
