Huawei has announced its first smartphone equipped with a 108MP rear camera. The device, called Nova 9 SE, can already be ordered on the website of Huawei’s Malaysian branch, and the device has started to go on sale today.
The chipset is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G mobile processor. The software platform uses Android 11 with a proprietary add-on EMUI 12. Instead of Google services, the user is offered HMS services and the Huawei AppGallery application store.
The device has a 6.78-inch screen panel that offers a resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The matrix is made with IPS technology. In the middle of the upper part of the display, there is a hole for a selfie camera with a 16MP resolution.
A quad camera is installed on the rear, which has a 108MP main module, an 8MP wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro module. The camera supports the Super Night Shot mode, which delivers high-quality detail shots in poor light conditions.
A 4000 mAh battery is responsible for the power supply, which supports the proprietary SuperCharge charging with 66W.
