After numerous rumors and speculations, the Huawei Nova 3e was finally launched today in China.
The smartphone has the dimensions 148.6 x 71.2 x 7.4mm and weighs 145 grams. It also sports the infamous notch as well as a bottom bezel that had the company’s logo. The Nova 3e was confirmed to have a glass back design.

The device features a 5.8″ display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the Huawei Nova 3e contains the Kirin 659 with 4GB of RAM and two storage options, 64GB and 128GB. The handset also runs on Android 8.0 and contains face unlock and its voice assistant. The Huawei Nova 3e is powered by a 3000mAh with 18W (9V 2A) fast charging.
What’s truly unique about the Nova 3e is its camera setup. The handheld has been deemed as a Selfie beast. According to GizmoChina, it is the world’s first smartphone to feature the 24MP Sony IMX578 sensor up front for stellar selfies. The new sensor boasts of a 20% increase in resolution, 33% decrease in noise in low light images, and a 26% increase in color reproduction. Furthermore, the device’s rear camera has a 16MP + 2MP dual camera setup that supports bokeh photos.
The Huawei Nova 3e is available in four colors which are Klein Blue, Cherry Powder, Magic Night Black, and Platinum Gold. As for its price, it has been confirmed that the 4GB +64GB model will be priced at 1999 Yuan (approx. Php 16,400) and the 4GB + 128GB will be priced at 2199 Yuan (approx. Php 18,000) The Nova 3e’s first sale will be on March 27, 2018.
