Huawei is releasing a new software update for the Mate 60 series smartphones. This update, HarmonyOS 4.2.0.130, aims to improve the camera, add a new feature, and make the system run smoother.
The update enhances the photo quality on the Mate 60 series. Users will see clearer and sharper images, especially when using the telephoto lens. Portrait mode is also improved, offering more detailed and natural-looking photos.
The Mate 60 Pro+ and Mate 60 RS Master gain a new accessibility feature called Smart Scanning. This feature allows users to quickly scan QR codes with the phone’s rear camera while in desktop mode.
Smart Scanning is available on several Huawei models, including the Mate 50, Mate X3, Mate 60, and P70 series.
Besides camera upgrades, the update brings general system improvements for a better user experience. It also includes the latest security patches to protect the phone from threats.
