
HUAWEI has introduced the Mate XT, the world’s first tri-foldable smartphone, initially launched in China.
According to a report from Android Authority, the device is expected to be available in global markets by Q1 2025, though specific international pricing details have not yet been revealed.
The Mate XT features a 6.4-inch screen in single mode, a 7.9-inch dual screen, and an expansive 10.2-inch tri-folded display, all supporting high resolutions and a 120Hz refresh rate.
It is powered by the Kirin 9010 chip, equipped with 16 GB of RAM, and offers storage options up to 1TB.
In terms of photography, the Mate XT is equipped with an 8MP front camera and a rear camera system that includes a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP periscope telephoto lens.
The device houses a 5,600mAh battery that supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
