Apple recently launched the iPhone 16 series, but excitement is already building for the upcoming iPhone 17 series, particularly regarding the new iPhone 17 Air.
Enthusiasts are making bold predictions about its features, including the changes in displays and an ultra-thin design.
Apple is set to eliminate 60Hz displays in its upcoming iPhone 17 series, introducing 120Hz high refresh rate displays. These plan is coming for both the standard iPhone 17 and the new iPhone 17 Air.
This transition, which was previously limited to Pro models, marks a significant enhancement for the entire lineup.
The devices will feature LTPO OLED panels supplied by BOE, providing variable refresh rates and better battery efficiency.
The iPhone 17 Air will replace the less popular Plus model. Additionally, the Pro models are rumored to incorporate under-display Face ID technology to minimize the front camera cutout.
Additionally, the iPhone 17 series might include an “Ultra” model. This version would also be slim but promises improved performance and longer battery life.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg also shared that the iPhone 17 Slim could come with a 6.6-inch display boasting a resolution of around 2,740 x 1,260 pixels, making for a sharp and vibrant screen.
The iPhone 17 series is expected to launch in late 2025.
