HTC Is Scheduled to Launch the Mid-Range Desire 20 Pro

HTC is set to launch the HTC Desire 20 Pro on June 16, 2020. Although the price is not known yet, key specs were revealed thanks to Google Play Console’s Device Catalog.

A rough render of the device shows that the HTC Desire 20 Pro will feature an FHD+ hole-punch display and a quad-camera setup. Along with the vertical camera module, however, is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, the smartphone is will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with 6GB of RAM. It already runs on Android 10 but we’re not sure if it’s still going to use HTC’s skin UI.

According to an official poster, HTC Desire 20 Pro may have some kind of connection with the company’s Vive VR initiative. The company has not launched a phone since the HTC Desire 19+ from last year. While we’re not expecting the new device to beat its competition, it’s interesting to see what it’ll bring to the table, especially with Vive on board.
