HTC recently announced the successor to their HTC Butterfly series, the HTC Butterfly 3. The device is actually the same as to the HTC J Butterfly, which was released on Japan, back at May. Check out its specs, features and possible price to see whether HTC’s successor fits your wants nicely.
The HTC Butterfly 3 packs a 5.2-inch QHD LCD display and is empowered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset. The latter also carries 3GB of RAM, with expected, 32GB internal storage and a microSD card that is up to 128GB. The Butterfly 3 runs on an Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense 7 UI.
By the looks of the Butterfly 3’s specs and features, it might be a camera heavy phone, since it packs a 20.2MP rear shooter, complete with a secondary sensor to help capture distance information. This combination is what HTC calls the Duo setup, which mainly allows a lot more creative effect on the already taken output, such as the autofocusing on post-shot outputs. The Butterfly 3 also supports 4K video recording. On its front is its 13MP selfie shooter that shoots 1080p video.
The Butterfly is expected to be launched in taiwan for TWD 19,900 or roughly Php 28-30K. There aren’t any news in regards to its global release, so for that, we have to wait for a  bit.
