Honor will introduce the Magic 5 series internationally at MWC Barcelona on February 27. Four smartphones—the Magic 5, Magic 5 Pro, Magic 5 Ultimate, and Magic 5 Lite—are expected in the flagship series. The Pro and Ultimate models received China’s 3C certification before their introduction. Please see below the specifics.

Honor Magic 5 Pro and Ultimate achieved China’s mandatory 3C certification with model numbers PGT-AN10 and PGT-AN20. The authority said the two flagships would support the HW-110600C00 charger with Honor SuperCharge at 66W.

66W charging is fast. However, some Chinese flagships provide speedier charging. Magic 4 Pro from last year supported 100W charging, and Realme released a phone with extraordinary 240W charging.

The Magic 5 Pro and 5 Ultimate expect to use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 5.0 storage. The Magic 5 Pro may have a Sony IMX878 sensor with OIS, an OmniVision OV64B lens, and a Sony IMX516 camera on the back.

The Magic 5 Ultimate may have a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor with OIS, an IMX758 lens, an IMX516 sensor, and another OIS-enabled Sony camera. Both phones contain ToF lenses and flicker sensors.

Both Honor smartphones might have a 6.8-inch OLED LTPO panel with a 1Hz–120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, and 1100 units of brightness.
