The Honor View 10 officially launched back in December although it only featured 4 and 6GB RAM variants. Today, it was announced that the device will arrive with an 8GB RAM this August in China. The Honor View 10 was originally the global version of the Honor V10 which was sold in China.

The Honor View 10 features a 5.99″ IPS LCD display and is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset. It is expected to sport GPU Turbo as well. Prior to this new piece of news, the smartphone used to only come with 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. In addition, the View 10 is fueled by a 3,750 mAh battery supported by Super Charge and runs on Android Oreo.
In terms of its camera specs, the handset sports a dual 16MP + 20MP rear camera and a 13MP front-facing camera.
The 8GB RAM variant will soon be available in online and offline stores in China. Unfortunately, the smartphone’s price has not been released yet but speculations state that its price won’t be that far from the 6GB + 128GB variant’s price.
