Nothing phones are known for their semi-translucent design and their Glyph interface. Their unique look allows them to stand out from other devices in the market.
What we have here today is the Nothing Phone (3), positioned as the brand’s flagship offering that can compete in the current market. Let’s find out how it performs!

One of the key selling points of Nothing phones is their distinctive design. The Nothing Phone (3) offers an improved overall appearance, but at first glance, I found myself a bit confused about what I was looking at since it features both symmetry and asymmetry.
It has three columns, with two camera sensors aligned and one lone sensor at the top. As you’ll notice, it no longer has the signature LED strips. Instead, we get a rounded monochrome display that Nothing calls the Glyph Matrix.

Aside from the usual functions, this offers more customizability. Additionally, it features a capacitive touch panel on the back that lets you interact directly with the Glyph Matrix.
Design-wise, the Nothing Phone (3) brings an upgraded look, fitting now that it’s positioned in the premium market.
In terms of build, this device feels quite hefty, weighing 218 grams and measuring 8.99mm thick.

The back panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and has a smooth glossy finish, though it’s prone to fingerprint smudges. The edges are framed with aluminum.
On the right side, you’ll find the power and essential buttons, while the volume rockers sit on the left. A speaker grille is placed at the top, with another at the bottom alongside the USB-C port, SIM tray, and microphone.
Flipping over to the front, the device boasts a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1260 × 2800 resolution. It supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

Protection is provided by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Using it for multimedia is a delight, with snappy animations and smooth navigation. Slim bezels deliver a more immersive viewing experience, and there are no noticeable color shifts even when viewed at an angle.

Thanks to its high peak brightness, outdoor visibility is excellent.

For cameras, the Nothing Phone (3) sports a triple rear setup: a 50MP main, 50MP telephoto, and 50MP ultrawide. Up front, there’s also a 50MP selfie shooter.
Rear Camera Sample Shots
Photo quality is solid, the rear cameras capture images with a wide dynamic range and vibrant colors, though blacks and shadows can sometimes appear too deep. The results look natural, making them perfect for social media.
Lowlight Sample Shots
In low light, the performance is decent but not the best; well-lit environments deliver good results, while poorly lit shots may show some softness around the edges.
Selfie Camera Sample Shots
Selfies, on the other hand, come out sharp with impressive detail and true-to-life skin tones.
Both the front and rear cameras support 4K@60FPS video recording.

Powering the device is the 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Our review unit has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. On the software side, it runs Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5.

The experience is close to stock Android, with no bloatware, a welcome move. Performance is smooth across productivity, entertainment, and multitasking.

For gaming, we tested Zenless Zone Zero, and the gameplay was excellent with no frame drops or stutters. Benchmark scores also show competitive performance.

Battery life is handled by a 5,150mAh cell with 65W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

In our video loop test, it lasted around 13 hours and 57 minutes. Charging from 0–100% took only 1 hour and 2 minutes.
As for pricing, the Nothing Phone (3) is available in two variants:

Overall, the Nothing Phone (3) is a solid option despite its premium pricing. It delivers a powerful chipset, strong camera performance, and a design that truly stands out. While some competitors may offer better battery performance at this price point, if you’re looking for a unique and premium device, this phone is worth considering.
