Google has rolled out its AI-powered virtual try-on feature for online shopping in the Philippines.
This new feature allows users to preview how clothing items may look on their own body using a single uploaded photo.
The feature is part of Google’s Shopping tools and uses its generative AI image system, powered by its Gemini-based (Nano Banana) model.

It lets users select apparel items from supported listings and click a “Try it on” option, then upload a selfie or full-body photo to generate a virtual fitting image.
The feature is available on eligible apparel listings in Google Shopping, but it does not work on all products.
Keep in mind that items such as lingerie, swimwear, accessories, and sponsored ads are not supported.
To use the tool, users need to search for clothing on Google, open a product listing, and tap “Try it on” if available. They then upload an image that meets Google’s requirements, such as good lighting, a clear background, and a single subject in the photo.

Google noted that the generated images are only visual approximations and may not accurately reflect actual fit, sizing, or fabric behavior.
The Google Try on feature is now available in the Philippines.
