Since Google introduced the first Pixel phone three years ago, every iteration, we hope that the biggest search engine brings its phones officially in the country. While we wait for that hope to happen, a local retailer lists the Pixel 4a with a price of P22,990, which is a bit steeper than the suggested retail price in the US. Regardless, here’s what you need to know about it.
SulitZilla, as it appears, seems to be one of the few local providers of Google products. On its Facebook page, it claims that Google products come with local warranty and lifetime chat support. It even offers Cash-on-Delivery(COD) nationwide, if you’re a bit skeptical. Just last week, SulitZilla completed the first batch of pre-order of Pixel 4a units, with an estimated September date of arrival. Aside from the phone itself, the purchase includes a 1-month local warranty and “assistance with the official U.S. Google warranty and RMA process after the 1-month warranty is over.”
SulitZilla is not an official retailer of Google products, just so you know. If you’re planning to purchase the Pixel 4a, you’re still dealing with gray market. However, they do offer have some unique offerings, unlike others, such as the RMA repair process.
