The world can’t wait for Apple’s iPhone 15 to come out, but Google is already taking steps to make sure it doesn’t fall behind in the smartphone race. On October 4, the same day that pre-orders start, the tech giant will show off the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
Google put up a 360-degree demo for the Pixel 8 Pro earlier this week, but later took it down. This brief look at the gadget showed parts like a temperature monitor and a real SIM card slot. It also gave away three colors:
- Blue
- Porcelain
- Black

Leaks also say that the Pixel 8 Pro will have a main camera with 50 megapixels and an ultrawide lens with 64 megapixels. Both of these cameras will be made by Sony.
Plus, the phone should have a strong 5,000 mAh battery and be able to charge quickly at a maximum rate of 27W.
Keep an eye out for Google’s event in New York City on October 4.
