According to Globe’s announcement, all other mobile applications will be deactivated by the end of 2022 to unify all platforms in the GlobeOne App and streamline the customer’s experience with GlobeOne.
As Globe and TM subscribers will be able to use the GlobeOne App as the ultimate digital tool for various tasks, this would reduce the number of applications they must use for several required functions.
In November last year, the switch and rewards application was seamlessly incorporated into the new GlobeOne app, and both the old Globe One app and the TM app are scheduled to be decommissioned by the end of the year.
Patrick Dela Cruz, Head of Digital Product Execution and Operations at Globe, stated that as the Globe apps are unified, it enhances the ability to interact with customers efficiently. This is a big step towards Globe’s vision of making the Philippines more digitally enabled, beyond providing empowerment through continuous innovation.
It is also important to note that with the new GlobeOne App, customers can view, monitor, and manage all their Globe subscriptions and accounts from one application.
