Garmin recently launched its latest flagship performance smartwatch lineup, the Garmin Fenix 9 and Fenix 9 Pro smartwatches, which will also go official in the Philippines on September 16, 2026. Check out their specs and official local pricing.

The Garmin Fenix 9 series is built for athletes and outdoors enthusiasts. They bring new upgrades, including a titanium watch case, advanced stamina tracking, and a new multi-activity sharing feature.
“fēnix 9 and fēnix 9 Pro are purpose-built for those who want to perform better and venture farther. Athletes can better understand endurance gains and train smarter with advanced stamina metrics, while superior navigation tools help adventurers stay confidently on course. And with the new Garmin Epic feature, activities are turned into stories for users to relive. With these fēnix smartwatches on their wrist, our customers can redefine what they thought possible.”–Susan Lyman, Garmin Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing
The Garmin Fenix 9 features a fiber-reinforced polymer case with a titanium rear cover and is available in 43mm, 47mm, and 51mm sizes. It sports an AMOLED panel, a scratch-resistant sapphire lens, and leakproof buttons and is dive-rated up to 40 meters.
According to the brand, it comes with 50% more RAM than the Fenix 8, as well as a more powerful map engine with 30% faster panning. There’s also 64GB of memory for maps, music, and workouts. Battery life can reach up to around 29 days.
The new Garmin Epic feature in Garmin Connect allows users to group activities logged over days, weeks, or months into a single timeline. Athletes can track cumulative health and performance metrics, attach photos, and share their multi-activity journey with friends and family.
The Fenix 9 adds new stamina tracking features, including stamina zones and stamina curves, to help athletes analyze endurance trends over time. It also expands specialized tracking with advanced indoor rowing metrics, such as VO2 max and power curves, and enhanced rucking features that support on-device GORUCK workouts, mid-activity pack weight adjustments, and target metrics for up to 100 kg of load. Additionally, an updated perspective map view delivers clearer detail for both immediate and distant terrain, helping users better anticipate upcoming obstacles on the trail.

The Fenix 9 Pro has all the Fenix 9 has to offer and introduces a new full titanium watch case built using Garmin’s nano-molding technology. Display upgrades include a brighter 3,000-nit peak brightness screen, while the 51mm Pro model debuts Garmin’s first 1.5-inch AMOLED display, expanding screen size by 15% without increasing case size. There’s also an integrated LED flashlight that adds a green light mode to preserve night vision.
All three Pro sizes (43mm, 47mm, and 51mm) offer optional inReach satellite and LTE connectivity, enabling standalone two-way messaging, live tracking, and interactive SOS emergency response without a paired phone.
Battery life for the Pro model can reach up to around 31 days in smartwatch mode, while select Pro models get solar charging displays.
Additionally, new ComfortFit accessory bands are available for both smartwatches, offering a stretchable, moisture-resistant split-weave fabric design. Users can easily adjust or swap straps on the go with its QuickFit functionality.

The Garmin Fenix 9 (AMOLED, no inReach) is priced at PHP 62,690, while the Fenix 9 Pro (AMOLED, optional inReach) starts at PHP 72,690.
They will be available at Garmin.com, Garmin Brand Stores, Garmin Specialty Stores, and Garmin’s official e-commerce platforms. Pre-orders are open now through September 10 at Garmin Brand Stores, Specialty Stores, and Kinetic.
