Samsung is developing a “Special Edition” of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, as revealed by a new webpage on Samsung India’s website.
The official name for the device will be the “Galaxy Z Fold 6 (Special Edition),” indicating it is part of Samsung’s sixth-generation foldable series.
The listing’s presence on Samsung India suggests that this Special Edition may be available beyond South Korea and China, possibly reaching markets like the US and Europe.
While specific design and specifications have not been confirmed, leaks indicate that the Special Edition will feature a larger camera island with a rounded square shape, differing from the standard oval design.
The device is likely to include a power button, which may double as a fingerprint sensor, located on the right side, with the volume rocker above it.
Additionally, the rear panel may have a brushed metal finish, contrasting with the matte surface of the standard Fold.
Reports suggest that the Special Edition will have a larger cover display of 6.5 inches and an 8-inch inner foldable screen, slightly larger than those on the standard Fold 6.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 (Special Edition) are expected to open on October 18, 2024, and will close on October 24, with deliveries anticipated to start on October 25.
In the Philippines, the the Z Flip6 comes in 512GB for PHP78,990 and 256GB for PHP70,990.
