The design of the Samsung Galaxy Flip series has remained largely the same since it was first launched, with a few minor changes. The Z Flip 3 features a larger cover panel on the foldable device, which the Galaxy Z Flip 4 still has. But the minor differences that I saw between this two is the display, the display panel is also now tougher on the Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s bezels are thinner compared to its predecessor, making it look more modern than the Z Flip 3 which is a good thing as an upgrade. With its back, the Z Flip 4 adds several functions that you can use without opening the phone, such as messaging or touching smart home devices. You can also customize its background. It still serves the primary purpose of showing alerts and notifications that the Z Flip 3 has.
As for their cameras and specs, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has today’s flagship chipset Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 while Snapdragon 888 powers the Galaxy Z Flip 3. Both smartphones has a 8GB of RAM. So in this case, the Flip 4 can has it better when it comes to performance and speed. The two are also not far apart when it comes to the operating system as the Flip 3 will also be upgraded to Android 12 with the same One UI 4.1 OS as its Successor.
Both Flip 3 and Flip 4 have the same dual main camera, 12MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide. The upgrade provided by the Flip 4 has a larger sensor that helps in dim-light moments, allowing more light to enter the sensor for a cleaner signal to feed its processor. This can now provide better outputs for Night Photography. While on their front facing cameras, there is no changes between the two. The punch hole is located at the center and it still has a 10MP wide selfie cameras.

It only shows that the Flip 4 offers a sleeker design than its predecessor. However, it still provides minor upgrades when it comes to camera features, functions, design as well as battery. If we are talking about the price, what is offered by Flip 4 is slightly bigger now unlike Flip 3 when it was released. The Flip 3 costs PHP48,990 with its minimum spec while the Flip 4 has a pre-order price of PHP58,990 with its minimum specs.
