Sony Xperia Z-series
The Sony Xperia Z-series have showcased a few success stories for 2015. One, in particular, is the Z3+ being at the height of its time, another is how the Z5 Premium redefined smartphone displays through its 4K UHD display. These achievements of the Z-series lineup handsets have become something that will be written in smartphone history and by the looks of things, the Xperia Z-series lineup is looking to up their game this 2016. Can they do it? Who knows, however, the Xperia Z-series is expected to play a huge role in the smartphone industry this upcoming year, like how it played a decent role on the industry’s 2015 timeline.
iPhone Series
The iPhone series are a yearly approach and despite being relatively mainstream, they somehow gather a lot of attention on them. The ever-user-friendly iPhone lineup has been successful every year on their own special way and the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, the 2015 lineup is no exception. Apple is looking good and they’re looking to up their game, as they might introduce the iPhone 7 this upcoming year, as well as a miniature version of the 6s, the ironically named iPhone 7c. What the future holds for this series is unknown, but it’s best to bet that the iPhone lineup is something that will be given attention this 2016.
Samsung Galaxy A-series
The A-series mid-rangers have been relatively unknown to some people, but 2015 seems to be something that marked their success. A-series handsets such as the Galaxy A7 and A8 have seen the light of day in 2015 and by the looks of things, 2016 is looking to be a bigger year as a whole. A few upcoming 2016 renditions of older A-series handsets will come in hot, as well as the introduction of the newest member of the A-series family, the Galaxy A9. All the success of the A-series is quite unexpected though 2015 might not be as good as 2016, for the A-series family.
Sony Xperia M-series
The utility mid-ranger family of Sony, The Xperia M-series has seen a pretty decent amount of success on 2015. The M4 Aqua and M5 has become known and is considered to be one of the best pics in the camera department for a reasonable price. The Xperia M4 Aqua and M5’s water-resistant and dust-proof capability are something worth the attention of many and with the M-series’ success on 2015, 2016 might be something to look forward to.
Google’s Nexus Lineup
Google’s Nexus lineup are always known to be collaborative and this year, Huawei and LG took the mantle and created two handsets that were pretty impressive. One was a pretty decent budget handset, namely the LG Nexus 5X while the other is considered to be one of the best handsets of 2015, none other than the Huawei Nexus 6P. Both handsets were pretty impressive and we overall had our chance to get a hold on each of these new handsets. The Nexus 6P was obviously the most impressive among the 2 though the Nexus 5X is considered to be excellent as well. The Nexus Lineup is looking pretty good last year and 2016 might be something to look forward to.
