Excellent speaker performance

In our comparison of the Galaxy A8 and Xperia C5 Ultra, it was shown, or rather heard that the Galaxy A8 provided a more crisp audio quality and a more excellent audio volume. With this in mind, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the C5 Ultra’s audio was good, to be fair in was good to say the least. But the Galaxy A8 provided a more dynamic feel in its audio outputs, enabling a more closer feel to the speaker’s sound, and adding things up is its excellent volume control, which we thought was quite appreciative. All-in-all, the Galaxy A8 took the speaker round, with a very convincing victory.

Better display adaptability

Both the Galaxy A8 and Xperia C5 Ultra had huge screen displays in their arsenal, though, what caught our attention in the display department is the Galaxy A8’s overall better screen adaptability to different viewing angles, which the C5 Ultra had trouble at. The Galaxy A8 display’s quality was excellent in its respective ways, while the Xperia C5 Ultra just couldn’t keep up. The Xperia C5 Ultra’s display was seen to be dark, while viewing the device from different viewing angles, while the Galaxy A8 provides very accurate display brightness, despite looking at different viewing angles, which ended up giving the Galaxy A8 its victory over the Xperia C5 Ultra in the display category.

Overall better system performance

The Galaxy A8 performed really well on our benchmark, speed test and performance round, with the latter beating the Xperia C5 Ultra in all possible tests and trials. This solidifies the device as one of the excellent in its price range, showing off a thing or two to  the iconic Sony mid ranger. The Galaxy A8 was able to trump the Xperia C5 Ultra in our benchmark tests, beating the Xperia C5 Ultra in both conducted benchmark tests on the devices. The Galaxy A8 was also victories in the loading time speed tests, which highlighted the devices power in its system.

Galaxy A8 is more portable, compact and lighter

The Galaxy A8 showcases a more compact and portable exterior measurements than of the Xperia C5 Ultra, which is apparently seen on our review comparison The Galaxy packs a bit less in terms of thickness and weight, which to some might be considerably appealing. It should be taken into consideration as one factor that can help you choose between the two. Since portability is still something very important, despite having a relatively large device. So, its safe to say that portability and efficiency is within the device. With that in mind, this factor is something that one would consider in deciding whether to purchase from these two devices.

Better offerings for internal storage and battery capacity

The Galaxy A8 carries a more convincing 32GB of internal storage, which is relatively more larger than the given 16GB of internal storage of the Xperia C5 Ultra. This alone makes it something more of a worthwhile buy than the Xperia C5 Ultra, which will save you a lot of cash from its 32GB of storage. Adding to this is the Galaxy A8’s larger battery capacity of 3050mAh battery, in comparison to the 2950mAh battery of the Xperia C5 Ultra. However, this is actually just a minor differences, though these small little factors build-up the worthiness of the Galaxy A8.
