eGovPH officially adds a new Digital ID in the application, the Senior Citizen ID.
The update provides online accessibility to various discounts, benefits, and government services.
Just like the physical card, the digital version can be used as a valid identification card for different transactions and applications.
With the digital version, users can access discounts on medicines, medical services, groceries, restaurants, transportation fares, and selected establishments through the application.
The Digital ID can also be used for social pension programs, other government assistance services, and transportation discounts on public utility vehicles such as jeepneys, buses, taxis, MRT and LRT lines, as well as domestic flights.
The Digital Senior Citizen ID is now available through the eGovPH app, along with other digital IDs such as the Digital TIN ID.
