The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VII has released the online list of Social Amelioration Program (SAP) beneficiaries. Accessible via the agency’s website, the publishing of names online is a way of showing transparency amid the distribution of the cash assistance. Field Office VII covers the province of Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor. The list will continue to be updated as local government units (LGUs) submit the master lists to the regional office. According to DSWD, this will allow the public to know who has received the assistance and scrutinize whether the beneficiary is really qualified for the aid based on the criteria of the program.
