DSWD Releases 1st Batch of Drivers Eligible for Financial Aid

Changes as of April 17, 2020 – Updated the list of eligible drivers for SAP.

The first batch of public utility vehicle(PUV) drivers to receive financial aid through the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has been released to the public. A total of 4180 drivers can now claim their cash assistance via their most convenient Landbank branch. You can check your name by visiting this list. Landbank accepts customers from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Listed PUV drivers will need to bring their driver’s license and a photocopy of it with two signatures. As for those with special cases, check the requirements below:

Confiscated driver’s license

  • Temporary Operator’s Permit
  • A government-issued ID with signature
  • Photocopy of ID with two signatures

Expired driver’s license (no later than September 30, 2019)

  • Driver’s license
  • Photocopy of driver’s license with two signatures

Drivers who will send a representative to claim financial aid

  • Letter of authority from the beneficiary with signature
  • Driver’s license of the beneficiary
  • Photocopy of driver’s license of the beneficiary with two signatures
  • A valid government-issued ID of the representative
