Converge ICT the broadband and fiber provider that originated in Pampanga as a small cable operator founded by Dennis Anthony Uy is finally expanding its fiber and broadband internet plans to more islands and provinces in the Philippines.
The latest report from the company reveals that it has 730,000+ subscribers ending in June 2020 along with a 50% profit jump for the first half of the year. It’s a big jump in terms of subscribers as it recorded 380,000+ just end of 2019.

Converge ICT Solutions offers affordable fast internet plans through its fiber network to residentials and SMEs or businesses with their cheapest pricing at P1500/monthly with 25Mbps, unlimited data cap.
They also offer up to 500 Mbps for P7,000/monthly and with an unlimited data cap. This beats the prices of Globe and PLDT fiber offerings.
The company will go public with its IPO listing to happen in October 2020 and they will target as much as P30B pesos.
On the other hand, Dito Telecommunity is also poised to start its operation in the summer of 2021. They will launch as 3rd telco and will offer mobile networks competing with Globe and Smart. They do not have a plan for broadband rollout but they are likely to offer 200Mbps speed for unbeatable price over the next coming years.
