Cherry Mobile recently released its 5.5-incher, the Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Plus and we figured to face it up with some of the Philippines’ smartphone market leaders for affordability and quality, like the Lenovo K3 Note and Asus’ Zenfone 2. Lets see their specs, affordable prices and features and find out who’s on the top of the food chain.

The devices are pretty much at par with one another in terms of specs and features, although a few differences are seen. Lets highlight the things we noticed on the Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Plus, once faced with these two market leaders.
Highlights on Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Plus
- More affordable than the Zenfone 2’s registered price.
- A bit more expensive than the K3 Note on Lazada by a few pesos.
- Has the lowest battery amongst all three competitors
- Has advantages in main camera and front facing camera pixel count
- WiFi connectivity is slower with its WiFi n, in comparison to the WiFi ac of Lenovo and Asus Phones.
- Has a fixed count of RAM and internal storage capacity
- Has a more updated Lollipop version of 5.1, on contraire to the Lollipop 5.0
The Flare S4 Plus has some decent advantages over the market leaders in terms of camera features, however, it does sway away on a few other factor, in terms of WiFi connectivity performance, option in RAM and internal storage capacity and battery capacity. The Flare S4 Plus is expected to be priced at Php 7,999 upon release on the end of October.
