vivo has confirmed that OriginOS 7 will officially roll out globally this month. The announcement was shared through vivo’s X account.
According to a report by notebookcheck, vivo is reportedly preparing a major redesign for OriginOS 7, based on Android 17. Rumors show a translucent interface with live blur and lighting effects, along with a redesigned Control Center, interactive wallpapers, a new OriginPlayer, and customizable visual textures.
The update is also expected to bring improved multitasking through Atomic Workbench and other UI changes.
Meanwhile, vivo has also started teasing the upcoming vivo V80, highlighting its camera features and cinematic photography capabilities.

However, the V80 does not have an official launch date yet. Recent reports only suggest that it could launch in October.
OriginOS 7 will launch globally on September 21. Stay tuned.
