Now the Oppo A83 was said to be intended for gamers. But, who will prevail in this battle? The ‘Battery Kings’ or the ‘Selfie Experts’?

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 has a larger screen featuring a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 and an aspect ratio of 18:9 while Oppo a83 comes with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 and an aspect ratio of 18:9. As for the dimension, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 measures 159 x 76 x 8.5 mm weighing 180g a bit heavier that Oppo A83 that measures 150.5 x 73.1 x 7.7 mm weighing 143g.
Under the hood, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 along with Adreno 509 that runs the latest Android 8.1 Oreo while Oppo A83 is equipped with a higher Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 along with Mali-G71 MP2 that runs the Android 7.1 Nougat. Oppo A83 offer more RAM and storage variants of 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage / 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage/ 4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB storage while Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 carries 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4/6GB RAM + 64GB storage that can be expanded via micro SD card.
Unfortunately, the Oppo A83 does not have a fingerprint scanner feature, unlike the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 though both have the facial recognition feature. The Oppo A83 is fueled by 3180 mAh battery capacity while Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 carries a whopping 5000 mAh battery capacity.
For the camera department, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 offers a camera variant with 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel with an 8-megapixel front camera and a 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel with the 16-megapixel front camera available only for a 6GB RAM model. On the other hand, Oppo A83 doesn’t have a dual camera setup although it houses a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.

I think this article is misleading. Oppo A83 have only Mediatek Helio P23 and it has also a face unlock feature. Correct me if I’m wrong.
