Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 features IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and dimension measurements of 159 x 76 x 8.5 mm weighing 180g while Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus comes with an FHD+ IPS display 2.5D curved glass with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels and a dimension measurements of 158.5 x 75.45 x 8.05 mm weighing 180g.
Under the hood, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is powered by higher Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 along with Adreno 509 that runs the latest Android 8.1 Oreo while Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 along with Adreno 506 that runs Android 7.1. 2 Nougat. Both devices feature a fingerprint scanner, however, only the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 has the face unlock security. For the optics, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 offers a camera variant with 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel with an 8-megapixel front camera and a 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel with the 16-megapixel front camera available only for a 6GB RAM model. On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera lens with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
