TECNO has officially launched the TECNO CAMON 40 Series in the Philippines. The series includes CAMON 40 Premier 5G, CAMON 40 Pro 5G, and the standard CAMON 40.
Adding star power to the launch is none other than Filipino icon Sarah Geronimo, who now serves as TECNO’s newest brand ambassador.
The TECNO CAMON 40 Series boasts a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED with 2436 x 1080 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate. However, the CAMON 40 Premier 5G houses a 6.67-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate.
The CAMON 40 Premier 5G goes even further with its 50MP Sony Ultra Night Camera, which captures over 56% more light and features a shutter.
The Premier model also includes 50MP ultra-wide, 50MP periscope telephoto, and 50MP autofocus front camera – plus 4K video recording with a dedicated imaging chip.
On the other hand, the CAMON 40 Pro 5G earned a 138 DXOMARK camera score, placing it No.1 globally among smartphones under USD600 (about PHP33,959).
It also holds the title of the first 2025 phone to receive the DXOMARK Smart Choice Label.
Under the hood, the CAMON 40 Premier 5G is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 8350. Meanwhile, the CAMON 40 Pro 5G is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7300.
The CAMON 40 Pro and CAMON 40 houses a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate. As for the storage, the devices are available in 128GB or 256GB and choices of 8GB or 12GB RAM.
