Infinix is back with another gaming smartphone for the Philippine market, the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro. Positioning it as the only metal-frame gaming phone with 90W wired and 30W wireless fast charging under PHP12k.
Apart from its charging capabilities, let’s find out what else this device offers.
First things first, let’s talk about the design and build. The Infinix NOTE 50 Pro sports a Metal Frame Ultra-Resilient ArmorAlloy™ Design, made with a mix of steel and aerospace-grade aluminum. For sure, that’s not something you usually see on a mid-range phone! In fact, it’s the only phone in its price segment—under PHP 12k that offers this kind of premium build.
It gives off that tough and premium vibe right out of the box. It is also IP64 certified, making it splash, water, and dust resistant.
Now, if you’re a hardcore Call of Duty: Mobile player, the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro comes with an exclusive customized case and CODM-themed character wallpapers.
The build feels solid and reliable, which is something we don’t usually get at this level.
Thanks to the metal frame, the back panel has a smooth, matte finish. It doesn’t easily catch fingerprint smudges, which we appreciate. It looks clean, and even if it gets a little dirty, it’s easy to wipe off.
Moving on, the device weighs 198 grams and is just 7.32mm thick. It has a nice, sturdy feel in the hand, probably because of the metal frame.
Speaking of the frame, the volume rockers and power button are all placed on the right side, at the bottom, you will find the SIM Card tray, charging port, and speaker grille, and at the top you’ll see more speakers and a JBL logo.
The unit that we have is in Enchanted Purple, which looks clean and elegant. But if you want more options, it also comes in Titanium Grey, Shadow Black, and Racing Edition.
Now, let’s talk about the display. The Infinix NOTE 50 Pro has a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with up to 144Hz refresh rate. It also offers up to 1300 nits of peak brightness, which makes it a good option even if you’re playing outdoors.
The bezels are thin too, which makes the screen nice to look at. Whether you’re grinding on CODM, binge-watching movies, or just casually scrolling through social media, the screen looks and feels great.
One thing we like? It’s flat display, there are no curves, no edges. Just clean and simple. Swiping and tapping feel smoother, especially when you’re watching or gaming for long hours.
As your daily driver, Infinix also included a wet and greasy touch feature, which means even if your fingertips are damp or a bit oily, the screen remains responsive.
Onto the cameras. The Infinix NOTE 50 Pro houses a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP main sensor with OIS, and an 8MP secondary camera with flicker sensor. On the front, you get a punch-hole 32MP selfie shooter.
The rear camera delivers accurate colors, with no unnecessary blurring at the edges. Using the rear camera in well-lit areas delivers decent results. We like how it captures the gradient hues from green to yellow. The results are not grainy, overly vibrant, or too bright.
Meanwhile, the front camera gives true-to-life skin tones, with natural-looking results, even facial redness is still visible. The images aren’t grainy as well. Overall, the quality is great for social media posts.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset. While this might not be the best option for heavy-duty usage, it’s still solid for everyday use, especially considering its price.
As for the memory, the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro comes with 256GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM, which can be expanded up to 24GB with extended virtual RAM.
For casual and daily tasks, the device performs well, thanks to its solid battery life. It handles regular use without any lags.
Now, onto one of its best features, gaming. In my experience playing Mobile Legends was smooth and responsive. Players can definitely notice the 144Hz refresh rate, plus we didn’t notice any frame drops. Overall, it handled the game well.
As for Call of Duty: Mobile, the device performed better than expected. It offers medium graphics and high frame rate.
While gaming, we initially noticed that it offers vibrant colors, which we appreciate. It also didn’t give me a hard time playing, especially since CODM can be a fast-paced game. The display is smooth, making gameplay more enjoyable. The phone didn’t overheat easily as well.

As mentioned earlier, Infinix is stepping things up when it comes to battery and charging.
The NOTE 50 Pro is equipped with a 5,200mAh battery, paired with 90W fast charging and 30W wireless charging
According to Infinix, the battery is built to last up to 6 years, which means users are getting a long-lasting device in terms of battery health.
How long does it take to charge? Well, in our charging test, it only took 33 minutes to go from 0 to 100%, and we found it impressive. It didn’t even take an hour to get a full charge, which is super convenient if you’re always on the go or you want to go for another round of gaming.
Meanwhile, in our usual video loop test, the device lasted a total of 14 hours and 34 minutes, making it reliable for daily use.
Lastly, the price! The Infinix NOTE 50 Pro will be launched exclusively via Shopee on April 24 priced at PHP11,999 for the 12GB + 256GB version. You can also get this for only PHP9,999 on Shopee during its Early Bird period.
