Apple has released the iOS 26.4.1 update.
This is a small update from Apple that addresses the iCloud syncing issue affecting iPhones and iPads running iOS 26.4.
The problem caused some devices to stop receiving iCloud change notifications. This affected apps that rely on Apple’s CloudKit system, like Drafts and the Passwords app.
Changes made on one device were not always updated automatically on other devices connected to the same iCloud account.
Developers reported the issue and submitted bug reports while waiting for a fix from Apple.
With iOS 26.4.1, Apple says the syncing problem has been resolved. Users experiencing iCloud-related issues are advised to update their devices.
For users in the beta program, the fix is already included in iOS 26.5. The update can be installed by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
