Apple officially announces visionOS 27 with new AI-focused features coming to Apple Vision Pro.
The update introduces a new version of Siri AI powered by Apple Intelligence, with more natural conversation and deeper app actions.
Siri AI can perform tasks across apps like Messages, Music, Reminders, and Safari.
It can also understand personal context, such as finding old photos or continuing tasks across devices. A new dedicated Siri app is included to store and manage conversations in one place.
A feature called Visual Intelligence allows users to ask questions about objects they are looking at through Vision Pro. It can also provide information and help take actions based on what is on screen or in the real world view.
Apple says Apple Intelligence will also improve apps like Safari, Passwords, and Image Playground. Safari can group browsing content automatically, while Image Playground can generate and edit images through text or voice input.
visionOS 27 also adds spatial features, including previewing Mac content in 3D space, turning panoramas into spatial scenes, and improved window design that wraps around the user’s environment.
Other updates include faster Wi-Fi connection, notification improvements, updated Control Center layout, and better syncing across Apple devices.
Siri AI will launch in English later this year as a beta, with availability limited to supported devices and regions.
