Meanwhile, Apple TV Plus will now cost $7 (₱410) per month after a $2 (₱120) price increase.

Apple One, the company’s bundle subscription, will now cost an individual $16.95 (around ₱1000) per month — a $2 hike.

A spokesperson for Apple justified the price rise for Apple Music as being due to higher license fees and payments to writers and performers.

Some price hikes have been concentrated on family plans, where numerous individuals can use the service and profit from access, like Spotify and YouTube. Meanwhile, Apple, Disney Plus, and Netflix price increases have been more widely implemented.

It’s difficult to predict how price increases would affect people’s behavior. A service must typically cope with churn, or the rate of cancellations, every time its costs are raised.
