
AnTuTu, a benchmarking platform, has recently released its Android smartphone ranking for January 2022 in China.
In terms of the flagship segment, the iQOO 9 Pro, equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, topped the list with an average score of 1,020,974. Placing second is the vanilla iQOO 9 with 1,020,156, whereas the realme GT2 Pro with 1,000,641 points placed third.
Completing the list are the OnePlus 10 Pro, Xiaomi 12 Pro, the Motorola Edge X30, the Xiaomi 12, the Black Shark 4S Pro (SD888 Plus), the Red Magic 6S Pro (SD888 Plus), and finally the iQOO 8 Pro (SD888 Plus).
As we have expected, the latest January 2022 ranking did change in the flagship segment because of the arrival of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, as the top 7 smartphones all carried the chipset.
Moving to the mid-range segment, the best performing smartphone in the same period is the iQOO Z5 with an average score of 570,948, followed by the Honor 60 Pro and OPPO Reno 7 5G. The list also includes the Xiaomi 11, Xiaomi CIVI, Honor 60, Honor 50 Pro, OPPO Reno 6 5G, and the Huawei nova 9 Pro. The Snapdragon 778G SoC dominated the mid-range segment.
