If you are unfamiliar with the Verbatim brand, they made power banks, wireless charger stands, peripherals, audio devices, other components and accessories for your computer and laptop, and so on. Their audio devices are what we will tackle in this article–TWS and headsets. This is a great opportunity for me because I’m looking for an audio device to bring with me when I travel and these devices are quite impressive when we first tested the sound quality, but not just the quality, but also the design and functionality of their products. Verbatim Urban Sound Eargear (Lazada|Shopee)
Starting with the verbatim earphones, the Urban Sound Eargear costs only PHP380. It’s reasonably priced and one of the higher-quality earphones we tested. It is an in-ear headphone with interchangeable ear tips. It comes in premium and elegant colorways and includes a native mic and button combo. It also has an L-shaped 3.5mm headphone jack and a tangle-free flat cable that you can easily untwist after taking out from your pocket. Furthermore, there are transparent silicon secure-fit ear wings designed to lock the earbuds in place and improve grip. As a result, the silicone buds’ grip, combined with the ear wings’ grip, keeps the earphones in place all the time. Because of the design, I feel more at ease wearing it.
We couldn’t agree more about its sound quality, it produces sharp sound for the price, and the overall sound quality is excellent. Because of the 9mm drivers, the bass has a thug feel to it, but one thing we noticed about the earphone is that the high-pitched tones are more noticeable than the bass and mids. However, it does not reach the point where it sounds like an empty can, and the bass compensates for this, producing a fire-quality sound. When looking for bassier earphones at a reasonable price, consider the Urban Sound Eargear as one of your options.
Verbatim Urban Sound V100C (Lazada|Shopee)
Moving on to headphones, the Verbatim Urban Sound V100C costs PHP850 and is an on-ear stereo street headphones with an ear cushion, 3.5mm plug, and a 1.2m cord. It comes in blue and red colorways, and the color is quite saturated. It also has a textured reflective pattern on the outer layer of its speaker case. The cable is nothing special, except that the wires on top are placed inside the adjustable slider, which keeps it from being exposed.  It’s made of plastic, but it’s lightweight, and we have no complaints about the price. Because of the firm adjustment slider and stretchy headband, the Urban Sound V100C headphone is quite flexible. It doesn’t hurt our ears after a long time of use because of the cushions. Even though the foam isn’t very thick, you can still feel the soft layer, which is great.

In terms of quality and functionality, it has an on-cord microphone and a single button for pausing and skipping tracks. The 40mm driver on the speaker has a massive thug to it, especially at maximum volume, and the bass is really strong. If you’re a bass head looking for a solid thug feel at an affordable price, the Verbatim Urban Sound V100C is one for you.
Verbatim Flat TWS Earbuds (Lazada|Shopee)
The Verbatim Flat TWS earbuds are the cheapest among the other two TWS in this article. For PHP890 you can now have quality wireless earbuds with Bluetooth 5.0. The case is very light, but we can tell it is durable. The case and earbuds are made of the same plastic with a matte smooth finish. Despite the fact that it is so smooth, it will easily slip out of your hand so be careful. Meanwhile, the Flat TWS earbuds are standard earphone, but it fits comfortably in my ear. It charges via USB Type-C, and the charging case is backed by a 300mAh battery, while each earbud has a 30mAh battery. Playtime lasts about 3-4 hours.
Verbatim TWS Earbud (Lazada|Shopee)
The Verbatim TWS Earbud comes with a one-of-a-kind case, and you only need to rotate the cover to get the earbuds out. It’s also lightweight, but more solidly built and has a large LED indicator. It can be charged via a micro USB port and the earbuds are in-ear with touch sensors. There’s also Hi-Fi sound quality, Bluetooth 5.0, Siri, and Google Assistant button, as well as IPX6 water and sweat resistance. It has a maximum battery life of 6 hours with its 50mAh per earbud while the charging case is backed by an 800mAh capacity.

Verbatim TWS earbuds with APTX (Lazada|Shopee)
Their premium TWS is the TWS earbuds with APTX. It has a larger, heavier case than the two above, but it is very solid and sturdy. The texture is similar to the Flat TWS Earbud with a matte smooth finish, but it has more grip particularly on the earbuds. In terms of design, it has an in-ear design with silicone ear tips, touch sensors, and an LED indicator.
Furthermore, it has an IPX6 waterproof rating, Bluetooth 5.0, Qualcomm® aptXTM audio technology, and a 6mm driver with Hi-Fi sound quality. The charging case has a capacity of 2600mAh, while each earbud 50mAh with a maximum life of 8 hours.
All have different qualities depending on the price, and the more expensive it gets the more premium the sound will be. The verbatim TWS earbuds with APTX truly have great quality with a sharp and bassy sound.
Overall
The Verbatim Audio Devices produce great sound for the price, and the designs and functionalities are impressive. What we like about them is that you can choose from a variety of products as well as colorways. So if you want to buy them for yourself, you can find them on Lazada and Shopee, and you might also see them in physical stores. I’ll go with the Urban Sound Eargear or the wired earphones because I’m not used to wearing wireless earphones and the secure-fit ear wings provide a better grip, which is another advantage. But all other devices from verbatim are affordable with great sound quality for the price.
