AnTuTu, a benchmarking platform, recently released its Android smartphone ranking for March 2022 in China. New smartphones have entered the list such as Samsung’s Galaxy S22 lineup.
In terms of the flagship segment, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, topped the ranking with an average score of 981,496. Placing second is Motorola’s Edge 30 Pro with 978,019, whereas realme’s GT 2 Pro with 970,727 placed third.
Completing the list are the Xiaomi 12, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G (SD8Gen1), Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G (Exynos 2200), Samsung Galaxy S22+ 5G (SD8Gen1), Samsung Galaxy S22+ 5G (Exynos 2200), OPPO Find X5 Pro, and finally the Samsung Galaxy S22 5G (Exynos 2200).
The list was dominated by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered devices with 7 out of 10 smartphones being powered by it. Samsung’s latest Exynos 2200 chipset also managed to include 3 Samsung devices on the list. However, it seems that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC is more powerful than the Exynos 2200. The SD8Gen1 powered Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G (919,689 points) outperformed its Exynos 2200 (904,778 points) variant.
Moving to the mid-range segment, the best performing smartphone in the same period is still the iQOO Z5 with an average score of 558,841, followed by the realme GT Master Edition and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite. The list also includes the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE, realme 9 Pro+, Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G, Samsung Galaxy M52 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, OPPO Reno6 5G, and the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G.
