Acer apparently also showed up on MWC 2016 in Barcelona and introduced a new successor to their Windows 10 Liquid Jade lineup, however, it seems that Acer is ditching the Windows 10 OS for Google’s Android. With that, the Acer Liquid Jade 2 is introduced, together with a new mid-range pairing, dubbed as the Acer Liquid Zest (4G variant and 3G variant).

Let’s start things off with the Acer Liquid Jade 2. As we said, Acer ditched the Windows 10 OS, for Android’s latest 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It boasts a 5.5-inch 1080p FHD display, a Snapdragon 808 chip, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of ROM with microSDC card slot. Shooting-wise, it carries a 21MP fast autofocus rear shooter with 4K UHD shooting capability, backed up by an 8MP selfie shooter.
Another introduced pairing is the Liquid Zest. As mentioned earlier, it has a 4G and 3G variant, with main specs including a 5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6580 and an 8MP/5MP camera setup. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which is pretty neat for a budget phone.
The Acer Liquid Jade 2 doesn’t have an exact price, but we can assume it is to be around Php23-26K while the Acer Liquid Zest is at Php5.7K for the 3G variant and Php7.8K for the 4G variant.
