Apple has released iOS 26.5.1, a minor update for iOS 26.
According to Apple’s release notes, iOS 26.5.1 fixes an issue that affected a small number of users where wired charging may not work when the device battery is nearly drained on iPhone Air and iPhone 17 models.
Keep in mind that iOS 26.5.1 does not introduce new features.
Apple is expected to shift attention to iOS 27, which may be announced at the WWDC keynote on June 8.
The update is currently available for the iPhone Air and all models in the iPhone 17 series. Users can download it over the air by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
