Microsoft has introduced the Surface Laptop Ultra, a new Windows laptop.
The Surface Laptop Ultra features a 15-inch mini-LED PixelSense Ultra touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio.
It supports 262 ppi resolution and up to 2000 nits peak HDR brightness.
The laptop is powered by a new NVIDIA-based chip. It supports running AI models directly on the device to reduce reliance on cloud processing.
The system can be configured with up to 128GB of unified memory, allowing heavier workloads such as large datasets and AI model processing to run locally.

The laptop includes USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, a headphone jack, and a full-size SD card reader. It also supports a user-replaceable SSD.
The device includes hardware-based security features, Windows Hello facial recognition, and on-device processing options for improved privacy and lower latency compared to cloud-only workflows.

Microsoft stated the product is still subject to FCC authorization. No official global or regional release dates have been announced yet.
