John Wick’s director is simmering something action-packed.
In a Deadline report, New Line Cinema has won an auction for Chad Stahelski’s action-thriller film entitled “Classified.” Andrew Deutschman and Jason Pagan (Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension) would helm as its writers.
As of now, little to no detail has been revealed besides that the movie would be like Die Hard meets Indiana Jones. It would feature a secret government bunker similar to the ending of Raiders of the Lost Ark and the beginning of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Inside the facility would be dangerous artifacts from World War II and from there some Die Hard action would be expected.
Chad Stahelski has been around in Hollywood through stunts and has been Keanu Reeve’s stunt double. He also was the martial arts coordinator in the original Matrix trilogy. In 2014, Stahelski along with David Leitch made their directorial debut with the surprise hit John Wick starring Reeves.
Stahelski then continued directing the sequel and third installment of the John Wick films while on other hand Leitch directed blockbusters such as Deadpool 2 and Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.
