After the release of LG Velvet 5G, the company seems to be working on releasing a 4G version which will appear in Aurora White, Aurora Gray, Aurora Green, and Illusion Sunset colors. With the price and availability unknown, it said that the LG VELVET 4G is about 20% cheaper than the 5G version and is expected to be launched in selected markets. In South Korea, Velvet 5G is retailing for KRW 899,900 (~P37,000). For that price, you can actually get a flagship phone already.
The LG VELVET 4G flaunts a 6.8-inch Cinema FullVision FHD+ OLED display with a 20.5: 9 aspect ratio and comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, accompanied by 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. Moreover, its triple-camera setup is equipped with a 48MP rear camera, 8MP ultrawide, and 5MP depth while the front camera comes with a 16MP sensor in a waterdrop notch. In terms of battery life, it has a 4300mAh battery that is capable of fast charging. Lastly, the device runs on an Android 10 and uses a stereo speaker for the audio.
We’re expecting LG Velvet 4G to launch as early as July.
