OnePlus is sure going in late in the flagship battles, as only a few leaks and information have been shown of their upcoming new OnePlus 3 handset. This could either be a strategic approach or a problem that OnePlus is currently dealing with. Nevertheless, it seems that things are starting to heat up for OnePlus’ upcoming successor to the OnePlus 2.

The OnePlus 3 was recently leaked via live photos and we can finally get a closer look at the new OnePlus handset. The first shot showcases the handset’s front, which seems to not show the iconic sandstone finish seen on the OnePlus 2, which is a big downer.
The 2nd photo shows off its bottom speaker and USB Type-C port, which isn’t exactly breathtaking or surprising, but it’s something to take. The OnePlus 3 is expected to carry a 5-inch FHD display, which is a bit smaller from the OnePlus 2. It is also speculated to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC and could feature 4 or 6GB of RAM.
