It is said that Samsung is working on the Galaxy Xcover 7, a new rugged smartphone under the Galaxy Xcover name. The model name for this device is SM-G556B, and it should be available soon.
This model number is interestingly close to the “SM-A556B” model number for the new Galaxy A55. Because of this, some people think the Galaxy Xcover 7 might be the Galaxy A55 but with more tough features.
Xcover 6 Pro
The Galaxy Xcover 7 might be a Pro model like the Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro, but this is still not clear. It’s more possible that the Galaxy Xcover 7 is not a Pro model based on how Samsung names its rugged smartphones.
So far, Samsung hasn’t confirmed that the Xcover 7 exists, and there isn’t any public information about what it can do. It should, however, come out in the first half of 2024.
