Leaked Samsung Exynos 2400 Specs Reveal 10-Core CPU

This year, Samsung’s Galaxy S23 line used Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, but rumors say that some Galaxy S24 models next year will use Samsung’s own Exynos 2400 SoC.

AnTuTu’s Chinese website says that the Exynos 2400 SoC will be used in Europe, Africa, and some Asian countries. It will be made using Samsung’s improved 4nm manufacturing method.

More importantly, the story gives all of the chipset’s specs. People say that the new Exynos SoC has a 10-core CPU with a 1+2+3+4 core arrangement. It will have a powerful Cortex-X4 core running at 3.10GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores running at 2.9GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores running at 2.6GHz, and four Cortex-A520 cores running at 1.8GHz. The ARMv9 design will be used for all of the cores.

There are also rumors that the new Exynos SoC will have a new Xclipse 940 GPU, which uses AMD’s RDNA2 design. It is said to have twice as many processors as the Xclipse 920, but that doesn’t mean it will be twice as fast. The clock speed and memory rate are two other things that can affect how well the GPU works.

It is also said that the chip will handle LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It will also have a new ISP that can work with 320MP camera sensors and take 8K video at 60 frames per second. It is also expected to have the new Exynos 5300 modem built in. This modem, like the Snapdragon X75, is said to have a maximum downlink speed of 10Gbps and a maximum uplink speed of 3.87Gbps.
