With the upcoming Black Panther Wakanda Forever movie, Seagate announced their latest external hard drive (HDD), which is the Black Panther Drive. Given the name, it is inspired by Marvel Studios’ Black Panther and now it is added to one of Seagate’s line of special edition storage devices along with other collaborations like Spider-Man and Star Wars.
The hard drive has a vibranium Black Panther outfit and a magenta RGB LED illumination as a tribute to T’Challa/the Black Panther.
Other drive layouts feature Okoye with a crimson and yellow theme that fits her Doro Milaje costume and Shuri with blue lights.
Another concept, known as the King of Wakanda Drive, similarly includes the Black Panther seated on a throne with magenta illumination.
Seagate’s FireCuda external HDD supports a wide range of platforms, including PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and has a capacity of up to 2TB. Additionally, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection for rapid transfers and global compatibility is included. The three-year limited warranty and three-year Rescue Data Recovery Services from Seagate are both included with the limited edition Black Panther drive.
Pre-orders for the Black Panther drive are currently being accepted for PHP 6,190 at all authorized Seagate retailers as well as the official Lazada and Shopee Seagate stores.
