OPPO has unveiled the Reno7 4G, the new version of its intermediate cell phone with limited connectivity to 4G. Despite having several features similar to the OPPO Reno 7 5G — including its entire look — its chipset was changed to contribute to its price reduction.
The OPPO Reno7 4G has a black version with a plastic back and a special version with an orange leather finish, sacrificing the blue option with Reno Glow. Moving on to its technical details, we still have a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The display has a hole that houses the 32MP (f/2.4 aperture) front camera. At the rear, there is a triple set represented by the 64MP main camera (f/1.7 aperture). The new model abandons the wide-angle camera to use a 2MP macroscopic lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
To reduce costs, the new smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. The platform that replaces the MediaTek Dimensity 900 of the OPPO Reno 7 5G, but still has the option of 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The phone has a 4,500 mAh battery that supports OPPO ‘s 33W SuperVOOC charging, promising to recharge to 39% in 15 minutes. Other specs include an under-display fingerprint reader, IPX4 protection and a P2 headphone jack.
The OPPO Reno7 4G is now available for pre-order in Indonesia through the manufacturer’s official store with a suggested price of IDR 5,200,000, or around ~PHP18,860.
